> How large does my sound system need to be based on group/room size?
> What kind of microphones work best in a given situation?

In our Audio Visual Planning Guide, for Meeting and Event Planners, you will find valuable information to help you answer the questions above and many more. Recently we analyzed a proposal submitted to us by a planner. She had some really great pricing for a meeting that was for 1000 guests. The problem was that in order to provide that price, the Audio Visual company had to use a sound system that was smaller than the room required. But the price was great! We were unable to convince the client that they might save some money, but they might also be less than satisfied with the sound system specified by the vendor.
In the end, the client called us for a quote on another event, and it was then that we found out the sound quality had indeed been less than optimal.
We understand budget concerns and will work diligently to give great quality at a price that works for you. By letting you know the issues up front, resources can be allocated to avoid surprises. As long as everyone understands the limitations, misunderstandings will be manageable, but like we all know, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
